The case files that players can find in Control are the most obvious tributes to the SCP Foundation. The FBC and SCP Foundation operate in similar ways, with Control‘s Board of Directors and the O5 Council being the closest comparison. Both The SCP Foundation and Control also share a very calculated tone that serves to contrast the wild effects that the abnormal objects display in both settings. The similarities between The SCP Foundation and the organization at the center of Control should already be fairly obvious, as both aim to protect humanity from objects that defy reality.
